When Dr. Charles Eugster sets his mind to do something, he figures out a way to do it. Recently, he set a new record for the 200 meter indoor sprint.

If you're expecting Dr. Eugster to fly around the track like Usain Bolt, who can cover the distance in just over 19 seconds, forget it. Remember, he's a 95-year old man. But, for his age group, his record of 55.48 seconds is something incredible.

This isn't Dr. Charles Eugter's first record. He's also the current British record holder in his age category for 60 meters, completing that sprint in 15.32 seconds. Also, when he was 93-years-old, he was declared the world's oldest oarsman and body builder.

Like most successful athletes, Dr. Eugster works with a trainer, Sylvia Gattiker, who says the doctor has only been running competitively for about a year. Dr. Eugster says,

It proves you can set challenges and goals at any age and achieve them."

What did the good doctor do after setting the 200 meter sprint record? He went to his hotel room for a well deserved nap.
