When two giants in the music  industry get together, you expect amazing results. That's pretty much what happened when Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson collaborated. In 1982, the two teamed up for "The Girl Is Mine" for Michael's "Thriller" album. The song  peaked at #2. A year later, they were back together, this time for "Say, Say, Say" for Paul's  "Pipes of Peace" album. It spent 6 weeks at #1 in the U.S. and was a  world -wide hit.

The video for "Say Say Say" was more like a short film, starring Paul and Michael, with appearances from Paul's wife, Linda, Michael's sister LaToya -his love interest in the video, and actors Harry Dean Stanton and Art Carney. The story of the video has McCartney and Jackson teaming up as con men to sell a "miracle potion", and then they donate the money to an orphanage.

Take a look at the video for yourself. It's actually pretty entertaining. Plus, seeing this video 30 years later makes you realize how momentous this collaboration really was. I don't think we realized it at the time.
