February has proven to be a cold month so far, leaving people inside. This doesn't need to be a drag, though. Nights stuck at home can be fun with the right activities!

Here are 25 ways to enjoy the winter freeze.

1. Plan you summer vacation. This is a great time to feel more motivated to plan a vacation when your thoughts are all warm and you have the downtime to invest in planning.

2Fondue Night. Chocolate can warm any heart. It is common to have fondue with friends with a fancy display of foods. Making Fondue in a saucepan is just as delicious, less prep, and a fun way to treat yourself and your family to a night in. Cheese Fondue could also make a fun meal.

3. Make breakfast for dinner. Comfort food is a must during cold, winter nights and there is something comfortable about breakfast. Biscuits and gravy. Classic eggs and bacon. Huevos rancheros. French toast or pancakes. The possibilities don't end there.

4. Redecorate. A new look can be fun and it is easy to feel lazy during the winter months. This will give your home a fresh new look while expending some energy.

5. Make candy. You can always give some away as gifts afterward. This also eliminates a number of ingredients in the candy that you consume.

6. Take a bath. Fill the tub with bubbles, grab a book, cold drink, and relax.

7. Build an indoor fort. This can be fun if you have kids, or if you don't. Let's be honest, the joys of building forts never leave us.

8. Popcorn and movie marathon. Pop some corn, add some flavor or candy, and relax under a blanket watching your favorite cinemas.

9. Scrapbook. Even if you have never done this, or don't have the official scrapbook equipment, it is still doable. Find random things around the house and have fun with the pictures you have laying around the house. You can even use old magazines and cut out pictures from there to use. A good way to organize and show off your adventures.

10. Make Soup. You can basically make anything into a soup. Potato Soup. The "Ultimate" Potato soup, that is. Filling, and complete with bacon. Can't go wrong there. Slow Cooker Taco Soup. The best part about this is you can leave for the day, come back from a cold drive home, and have the smells and tastes of soup waiting for your arrival. Healing Cabbage Soup. Winter is known to come along with colds, and this soup is perfect for warming you up and curing a common cold.

11. Homemade Hot Chocolate. Enough said, right? Make a traditional hot cocoa recipe, or vary it up by adding things you may have around the house such as mint, cinnamon, or even some vanilla ice cream. You can always add chocolate morsels to your hot chocolate to make it extra rich.

12. Read a book. Make the hot chocolate from above, grab a blanket, and get lost in a good book.

13. Write someone a letter. This a lost art, but everyone loves receiving snail mail that isn't billed. This simple act is fun but can also make someone's day.

14. Play a game. Grab the board games out of the closet and play for a couple hours. Get some laughs and strategic thinking going. A fun way to exercise the brain.

15. Give Yoga a shot. There is no shortage of online videos and tutorials for a yoga workout. Great way to relax and make your body feel good at the same time.

16. Craft night. Everyone has a little artist inside of them. Learn how to knit, paint, or find a DIY (do it yourself) home project like wrapping bottles in yarn. A productive time passer.

17. Find a TV Show. Discover a new show to watch and binge watch it for the night. Add some snacks and maybe a craft to the mix, and your night is complete.

18. Bake. Cookies, brownies, and cake. Oh, my! Try a new recipe or add something new to a favorite recipe. Discover a new favorite treat.

19. Brain Game. Word puzzles, sodoku, and games like this are a great way to tease your brain and keep it young.

20. Dance Party. Grab your laptop, put together a playlist of your favorite songs, and dance the night away.

21. Online shop. Price check things. Maybe you want a new bike for the summer, check your resources online. A couple of hours "window shopping" online can ensure you the biggest bang for your buck.

22. Video Game Marathon. Play online with your friends. The roads may be too icy to hang out in person, so virtually hang out.

23. Fireplace Fun. Get some smores ingredients and hang out by the fire with some pillows and a guitar if you have one. Indoor camping!

24. Call a friend or relative. This is a great time to call a grandparent, friend, relative. Facetime and Skype is a great option.

25. Treat Yourself Day. Give yourself a mini spa treatment. DIY facial masks, pedicure, manicure, DIY hand and foot scrubs.
