18-Year-Old Arrested After Girl’s Body Found Near Collbran
18-year-old Tanner George Flores was arrested today (June 9) after a body of a missing 18-year-old girl's body was found in his truck near Collbran, Colo.
The Larimer County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) had been searching for 18-year-old Ashley Marie Doolittle, of Berthoud, Color. after her family reported her missing yesterday (June 9) afternoon. Ashley was due home at 7:30 p.m., but never showed, and her family found her vehicle near Lon Hagler Reservoir in Larimer County.
Ashely had just ended a one-year relationship with Flores, who was also reported as missing since 3:30 p.m. on June 9.
The LCSO received a call that a truck matching the description of Flores' was spotted near Collbran, Colo. in Mesa County.
Authorities with the LCSO contacted the Mesa County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) for assistance in verifying the vehicle.
The MCSO along with other area authorities located the vehicle, and recovered a female's body and took Tanner George Flores was taken into custody.
